Subject:
Best opening paragraph ever!
The beginning of the book starts out: "...[E]very normal person loves a dog; it is the heritage of the ages. The man or woman who hates a good dog is abnormal. There is something fundamentally wrong in their psychical makeup." ...With that, I knew this one was a keeper!
The photos in this book are surprisingly lower quality than many earlier-era dog books, but they're still interesting as a comparison to the modern type of many breeds. Advice on feeding, rearing, and keeping dogs of all kinds, plus individual breed bios.
